Seven Deadly sins

The man says it all.

How did I never hear this before?

The Seven Deadly Sins are wealth without work, pleasure without conscience, knowledge without character, business without morality, science without humanity, worship without sacrifice and politics without principle.

Many of my favorite quotes come from this person. "my life is my message" "an eye for an eye makes the world blind".

i hadn't read the this one, and it makes me respect him further, anamemas notwithstanding.

same here pankaj. those quotes are my favorite too.

this quote escaped me too and adds a new dimension to the far-reaching intelligence and goodness of the man.

he was a man ultimately. His experiments in celibacy and diet - whose facts are known mostly through his own words - and his somewhat naive and passive and political theory in the later stages only make the man more real for me.

i would rather listen from a man who's wrong in some respects than an absolutely correct man.
